HTC Desire
The last few years i've gone through a few hand-me-down phones as i've been holding off buying a smartphone for one reason or another and just waiting for the right one. And i'm glad I did!
Google announced Android, then HTC came along with Nexus One and a few other beauties, I figured it was only a matter of time till I would get my hands on a great phone and OS.
Anyway, long story short... along came the HTC Desire and I finally got around to getting one off ebay and a BYO plan from Optus, and I couldn't be happier with the result!
The Desire is a smooth, powerful, sexy little smartphone and I would highly reccommend it to anyome thinking of getting an iPhone or upgrading, I can't speak highly enough of it. You could ofcourse go with the status quo of a frustratingly inflexible iPhone or Nokia, or you could do yourself a favour and get on what I believe is one of the best smartphones around on the best platform around. Android.
